【摘  要】初中数学课堂教学中的勾股定理是非常关键的一堂课，其产生和发展都具有非常多的数学史资料以及非常多的具体应用实例。但是初中数学教材对其讲解还不够充分，只是停留在勾股定理的表面，并没有深入地进行研究和挖掘，导致学生不能对其产生深入的理解。这就需要教师对勾股定理进行拓展教学，对其相应的知识、方法以及应用进行拓展，旨在充分发挥拓展教学的作用，促进中学生更好地掌握勾股定理，对其产生更深的理解。

【Abstract】The Pythagorean Theorem in junior high school mathematics classroom teaching is a very critical lesson. Its production and development have a lot of historical data of mathematics and a lot of specific application examples. However， the junior high school mathematics textbooks are not enough to explain it. It just stays on the surface of the Pythagorean theorem， and does not conduct in-depth research and excavation， resulting in students not being able to develop a deep understanding of it. This requires teachers to expand the teaching of the Pythagorean theorem， and expand its corresponding knowledge， methods and applications， in order to give full play to the role of expanded teaching， to promote middle school students to better grasp the Pythagorean theorem and have a deeper understanding of it.

一、勾股定理拓展教学的作用

在初中勾股定理教学中，教师可以对其进行适当的拓展教学，让学生对勾股定理具有更深的了解，从而帮助学生对数学这门学科具有更深的认知，也能够让学生明白与其相关的知识点，丰富学生的大脑，提高学生的发散性思维，有利于学生日后的数学学习和思考。还可以帮助学生对勾股定理进行证明，让学生知其然，亦知其所以然。如果学生只会应用前人的数学研究成果，而没有学会如何研究，这不但不会促进数学学习的进步，反而会造成数学研究的退步。因此，数学的学习要从基本知识下手，这样才能够逐渐提高学生的数学研究能力。通过对勾股定理应用的拓展，能够让学生明白数学不是简单地进行学习，而是要在现实生活中多应用，从而增加学生学习数学的乐趣，促进学生学习和研究数学知识。……
