摘  要：文章基于问卷调查和访谈的方式，通过对不同英语水平的高校一年级非英语专业本科生对现行学术英语素质拓展课的需求分析，揭示不同英语水平学生在目标需求方面的差异主要体现在必须掌握的知识（necessities）和缺乏的知识（lacks）两个方面，体现在学生学习动机和学习环境两个层次。最终对比分析不同英语水平学生学术英语课程需求，认为高校本科生学术英语课程需要基于不同层次学生学术英语学习需求开展英语课程设置和分层教学。

Abstract： Based on questionnaires and interviews， this paper investigates and evaluates the needs of Freshmen with different English proficiency（A and B levels） for the current academic English quality development course. It is found that the differences between A-level and B-level students are mainly reflected in their necessities and lack of knowledge. In terms of learning needs， these differences are mainly reflected in learning motivation and learning environment. It is imperative to make a comparative analysis of the needs of students with different English levels and explore the needs of students at different levels during the academic English learning period， so as to provide suggestions for the necessity of academic English curriculum and hierarchical teaching in universities.

在全球化时代背景下，高等教育已进入国际化时代。《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要（2010-2020年）》（以下简称“纲要”）指出，“要培养大批具有国际视野、通晓国际规则、能够参与国际事务和国际竞争的国际化人才”[1]。近十年来，国内各大高校及研究机构一直就高校英语教学模式和发展方向进行积极讨论和探索。其中，基于对“纲要”中对人才培养目标的要求，提出了既要重视通过通用英语课程对学生进行以跨文化交际为目的的语言基础能力培养，提高学生英语综合应用能力，更要重视学生比较熟练地运用外语从事自己的专业学习、工作和进行研究的能力，即认为大学英语课程应从通识英语课向学术英语（EAP： English for Academic Purposes或ESP： English for Special Purposes）方向发展，大学英语在新时期的培养目标是“培养国家需要的既懂专业而英语交际能力又较强的大学毕业生，以满足国家在政治、经济、军事等领域的国际交往需要”[2]。……
