摘  要：随着我国科学技术的不断提升，标志着我国已经步入了信息化时代。多媒体技术的出现，打破了人们传统的思维方式，其具有高效性、多样性的特点，为人们生活提供了大量的便利，促使社会和谐稳定发展。为此，身为一名初中地理教师，应灵活的运用多媒体技术，强化教学方案，丰富教学内容，以便于提升学生学习地理时的效率。基于此，本文就探究初中地理应用多媒体教学的优势与原则，并结合这一问题进行了以下阐述，以此为相关教师提供帮助和参考。

【Abstract】With the continuous improvement of my country's science and technology，it indicates that my country has entered the information age. The emergence of multimedia technology has broken people's traditional way of thinking. It has the characteristics of high efficiency and diversity，providing a lot of convenience for people's lives，and promoting the harmonious and stable development of society. For this reason，as a geography teacher in junior high school，he should use multimedia technology flexibly，strengthen teaching plans，and enrich teaching content in order to improve the efficiency of students' learning of geography. Based on this，this article explores the advantages and principles of multimedia teaching in junior high school geography，and combines this issue with the following elaboration，In order to provide help and reference for related teachers.

1.多媒体教学应用到地理教学的优势

（1）激发学生兴趣，唤醒求知欲望

正所谓兴趣是学生最好的教师。受年龄的限制，小学阶段的学生并未养成良好的思维习惯，其身心以及心智发展尚未健全，对于事物的认知水平处于薄弱状态，而兴趣作为学生思维活动的基础，具有丰富情感的作用，能够有效调动学生逻辑思维，使其积极探索理论知识。教师通过运用多媒体丰富形象的声音、图像以及影视动画等方式，触发学生感官意识，使抽象的地理知识变得更加直观，从而将学生带入生动形象的氛围当中，缓解学生的学习压力，激发学生学习积极性，使学生的目光重新集中起来，提高整堂教学的实效性。

（2）滲透国情教育以及爱国教育

在初中地理教学过程当中，针对国情教育以及爱国主义教育，所具备的内容异常丰富，可供学生选择的素材较多，但是丰富形象、生动活泼、极具感染力的画面较少。……
