摘  要：机械工程导论是机械类专业的一门专业启蒙教育课程，对学生认识专业具有重要的作用。当前机械类专业学生普遍存在对专业了解不全面、专业认同感低、学习目标不明确、对未来从业领域迷茫等问题。文章分析总结了当前机械工程导论课程存在的问题，以南京理工大学机械类专业的机械工程导论课程为例，在机械工程导论的课程定位、教材建设、授课模式和内容建设、课程考核和思政融入等方面进行了改革和实践。通过2018级、2019级本科生的教学实践表明，机械工程导论课程改革取得了预期的效果，课程目标已达到。

Abstract： The course of Introduction to Mechanical Engineering is a major enlightening education course of enginery profession; it has great importance on the understanding of major. At present， there are several problems for the students of mechanical major， such as partial understanding to major， lack of identification to their specialty， unclear learning objectives and confusing about the future of employment area. In the paper， the problems of the course are analyzed. The paper takes the course of Introduction to Mechanical Engineering of Nanjing university of science and technology as an example. And in paper the course orientation， textbook， teaching mode and content， course assessment and ideological and political education were reformed and practiced. The teaching practice of the classes of 2018 and 2019 indicated that the reform of the course was successful and the course objectives were achieved.

專业导论课程的学习是新生专业入门教育至关重要的一环，具有专业启蒙教育的作用。通过专业导论课程的学习能够使学生对专业培养目标、专业发展、研究领域、课程体系有一个全面的了解，对今后的从业领域有比较清晰地认识。专业导论课在专业课程体系中占据基础性地位。

门专业入门课。通过本课程的学习，使学生了解机械工程的起源、发展现状和发展趋势，机械工程学科在国民经济和国防现代化中的地位和作用，机械工程学科的内涵和主要研究方向，机械工程专业学生应具备的知识、能力和素质，以及机械工程专业课程体系。通过课程学习使学生了解专业，激发专业兴趣和学习动力，为学生尽早进入专业学习起到积极的引领作用。……
