Abstract：Asacriticalcomponentof China'sengineeringeducation，thecivilengineringdisciplineplaysapivotalrolein thenation'sinfrastructuredevelopmentandtechnologicaladvancement.Withtheincreaseintheumberofcollgeentranceexam participants，theoverallenrollentscaleofuniversitiesacrossthecountryhascontiuedtoexpand.Howeverenrollmentinivil engineering programshasnotkeptpace，andsomeinstitutionsareevenseingadeclineinthenumberofgraduates. Aditionall，anincreasingnumberofcivilengineeringstudentsareoptingtochangemajors，withhighratesofstudents trasferringoutofthediscipline.Thispaperconductsanin-depthanalysisoftrendsingraduatenumbersandmajortransfer ratesacross2OuniversitiesinChinaandtheUnitedStates，comparativeanalysisofthebasictrendsinthecultivationofcivil engineeringprofessonalsbetweenChinaandtheUnitedStates，thoroughlyexaminingthechallngesfacingcivilengineringtalent cultivation. It also offers targeted recommendations to address existing these challenges.

土木工程作为我国工程教育体系中的核心学科，其人才培养的质量和数量直接影响到国家基础设施的建设水平和城市发展的可持续性。在我国社会经济快速发展的背景下，土木工程行业面临着技术进步加速、工程项目系统性复杂化的挑战，对土木工程人才的知识结构和技能水平提出了更高的要求。特别是在新兴技术、智能建造、绿色发展理念的引领下，土木工程领域正在加速向数字化、智能化和多学科交叉融合的方向转型，这一转变不仅重塑了传统土木工程的行业格局，也对高校的人才培养模式、课程体系和教育质量等方面带来了新的挑战和机遇[1-3]。

然而，近年来土木工程专业的人才培养面临诸多困境。尽管全国高校整体扩招趋势明显，但土木工程专业的招生规模和生源质量却面临更加严峻的挑战，部分高校甚至出现了毕业生人数减少的趋势。同时，土木工程专业的学生转专业现象愈发频繁，转出率居高不下，反映了学生对该专业的就业前景和职业发展路径不确定性的担忧。此外，土木工程专业的课程设置与行业发展需求之间存在一定的脱节现象，学生实践能力不足以及教师队伍建设相对薄弱等问题，也进一步削弱了专业的吸引力和竞争力。

本文基于对国内外多所高校土木工程学院的数据分析，从毕业生人数、专业转出率等方面深入剖析了当前土木工程专业人才培养存在的主要问题。……
