【摘要】文化是语言的组成部分，语言又是文化的载体，培养学生跨文化交际能力是高职院校英语教学的一项重要任务。在英语教学中培养学生的跨文化交际能力，就必须在教学中选择教学内容，改变教学方式，在教学过程中让学生熟知中西方思维方式的差异，提高文化素养，帮助学生尽快了解和适应中西方的文化和生活。

【Abstract】Culture is the component of language and language is the carrier of culture. It is an important task to cultivate students' intercultural communicative competence in foreign language teaching. In order to cultivate students' intercultural communicative competence in foreign language teaching， it is necessary to choose the teaching contents， change the teaching method， make the students familiar with the differences between Chinese and western ways of thinking in the teaching process， and improve their cultural literacy， so on to help students understand and adapt to the culture and life of western countries as soon as possible.

在全球化背景下，高校培养具有国际视野、熟练使用外语交流、了解中外国家文化、能有效进行得体交际的能力则显得尤为重要。在各高校尤其是高职院校的教学过程中，向学生传授跨文化交际知识、提高学生跨文化交际能力的主要途径就是通过外语教学，因为语言交际是跨文化交际的最主要的方式，语言既是交际的工具，又是文化的载体。然而，受到生源素质不高、语言水平不高、教学资源不足等因素的制约，教师依然采用传统的课堂英语教学方式，教学内容有限，导致学生在语言学习过程中，接触的跨文化交际知识少，跨文化交际能力不足，导致在工作过程中常会出现沟通不畅、社会适应能力差等结果。因此，高职院校在英语教学中培养学生跨文化交际能力就起着至关重要的作用。……
