【摘 要】高校图书馆是传播知识和交流信息的文献信息中心，是一个学校信息化以及社会信息化的重要基地，是为高校教育教学和科研工作提供服务的学术性机构。图书馆馆长作为图书馆最重要，最直接的管理者，其管理水平和素质决定着图书馆的服务理念和发展前景。所以图书馆馆长的职业资格，个人能力及其他素质在一定程度上决定着整个图书馆的服务质量，同时也影响着高校的教育教学科研的顺利开展。

【Abstract】The university library is the literature information center of the school. It is an important base for school information and social information. It is an academic institution for providing service to the teaching and research work of colleges and universities. Curator is the most important and direct manager of a library. Its management level and quality determine the service concept and development prospect of library. Therefore， the professional qualification， personal ability and other qualities of the curator determine the service quality of the whole library to a certain extent， and also affect the smooth development of the education and scientific research in colleges and universities.

1 引言

高校图书馆是传播知识和交流信息的文献信息中心，是一个学校信息化以及社会信息化的重要基地，是为高校教育教学和科研工作提供服务的学术性机构。图书馆馆长作为图书馆最重要，最直接的管理者在图书馆运行的整个过程中发挥着组织、领导、指挥、监督等特殊职能。[1]其称职与否关系到图书馆事业的兴旺发展。那么高校图书馆馆长应具备怎样的职业素质？

图书馆馆长作为图书馆最重要，最直接的管理者，其管理水平和素质决定着图书馆的服务理念和发展前景。[2]一个称职的高校图书馆馆长，不仅要具备领导者最基本的行政领导素质，还应具备图书情报学等专业知识，同时注重自身素质的培养。[3]首先要熟练掌握图书情报学等相关专业知识，这是作为一名图书馆馆长最基本的条件。馆长必须是本专业、本学科的领头人。……
