中英大学生物科学专业课程设置对比思考

摘要以生物科学专业为例，调查了国内11所高校及英国牛津大学、约克大学、谢菲尔德大学生物科学专业的课程设置情况，对比中英两国高校在生物科学专业课程设置方面存在的差异，进而指出我国高校在课程设置方面存在的不足，并就此提出了一些改进的建议，以期对我国高等教育发展有所裨益。

AbstractIn this paper the biological sciences were used as an example. Eleven domestic universities and 3 British universities such as Oxford University, York University and Sheffield University were investigated. The differences in the biological sciences curriculum were contrasted. The existing problems in the course of our colleges were pointed out and some suggestions were put forward for improvement, in order to benefit the development of our higher education.

随着生物技术领域日新月异的快速发展，生物相关产业对专业人才的要求也越来越高。高校作为向社会输送人才的大本营，培养更多掌握生物专业知识及具有良好动手能力、实践能力、创新能力的优秀人才，是国内高校生物专业的首要任务。如何更好地培养学生的生物专业能力，合理的课程设置起着至关重要的作用。

本文通过对英国牛津大学、约克大学、谢菲尔德大学及国内11所高校生物科学专业课程设置的调查，指出我国高校生物科学专业在课程设置方面存在的一些不足，同时借鉴英国高校的成功教育经验，为我国生物科学专业今后的课程设置提出一些建议和意见。

目前国内生物科学专业基础课基本上通用“6+X”模式，即植物生物学、动物生物学、微生物学、生物化学、细胞生物学、遗传学等6门主要课程，另外根据学校的不同和特点设置分子生物学、生态学、进化生物学等X门课程作为补充[1-4]。……
