[摘 要] “以人为本”是近年来图书馆学界思考图书馆建设问题的重要角度和研究基点，然而，“人”分各个阶层，各层又有各自的诉求。文章从政治家、大众、设计师三个方面的诉求来分析建构图书馆建筑与空间设计的人性化特征，对指导图书馆建筑及其未来发展方向提出一些人性化依据。

中国是有深厚的文化积淀的文明古国，在历史的记忆中，收藏大量图书的“藏书楼”是文化渊薮，一间布置简洁、有数架图书和一桌一椅的书房则是文化人心中的桃花源。近代以来，除了古代历史传说的记忆中关于藏书楼的形象外，西方图书馆的“大众化”、“开放化”图书馆理念也渐趋普及，进入新世纪以来关于图书馆权利观念的普及，则更强地拉近了公众和图书馆的距离，一定程度上，图书馆成为人们社会生活的必要组成部分，基于公众需要所建设的图书馆，即是以公众人性化需求为旨归所设计和建设的图书馆，即“以人为本”。

然而，“人”分各个阶层，各层又有各自的诉求，这就增强了“以人为本”的复杂性，主导建设图书馆的往往是政治家、设计师、图书馆领导，由于各自对图书馆理解不同、理念不同，其功能也不同，同时庞大的用户群也有自己的诉求。怎样协调各方的利益平衡，达到各方面利益的最大化一直是近些年图书馆界面临的问题;同时以往的研究对以人……
