【摘要】伴随着经济全球化的进一步发展，中国的科技创新势头正盛，也向中国的知识产权保护提出了挑战。专利英译是专利申请授权的重要一环，高质量的专利申请文件翻译对专利申请能否获得授权具有重要意义。由于缺乏方法指引，难以保证译文高质量。本文以知识产权保护制度为背景，阐述明确专利英译的发展现状及重要性，以专利文摘和专利说明书为例，剖析专利英译的特点与方法，解决译者面临的常见困难，并从专业术语、规范化语言、语法三个层面总结一般规律，提出具体翻译策略。

【Abstract】With the further development of economic globalization， China's scientific and technological innovation is gaining momentum， which also challenges China's intellectual property protection. English patent translation is an important part of patent application authorization， and high-quality translation of patent application documents is of great significance to the authorization. Due to the lack of methodological guidance， it is difficult to guarantee the high quality of translation. Based on intellectual property protection， this paper clarifies the development status and importance of English patent translation. Taking patent abstracts and patent specifications as examples， this paper analyzes the characteristics and methods of English patent translation. By solving the common difficulties faced by translators， this paper summarizes the general rules from three aspects： terminology， standardized language and grammar， and puts forward specific translation strategies.

一、专利制度与知识产权保护

当今世界进入知识经济时代，在某种程度上，保护知识产权就是保护创新。如今中国年轻的专利制度更加强大，并且便捷和高效地为创新企业和个人发明者提供强有力的专利保护。

在2018年中国企业500强名单中，最让人欣慰和自豪的是各企业提供专利的数量。“其中，华为投资控股有限公司共74304件，占比90%。”在发明专利方面华为居于首位。……
