【摘    要】培养文化意识是目前初中英语教学中的基本指标之一。在初中英语教学的过程中，英语教师不仅要对初中生语言知识的教导进行重视，还要引领初中生学习英语国家的传统习俗、传统文化等，让初中生在学习语言的同时，可以更好地掌握所学的英语知识，并且经过比较中西方文化的差异后，拥有进行交流的能力，达到学习英语的目的。

The Importance and Strategies of Cultivating Cultural Awareness in Junior High School English Teaching

【Abstract】Cultivating cultural awareness is one of the basic indicators in the current junior high school English teaching. In the process of junior high school English teaching， English teachers should not only pay attention to the teaching of language knowledge of junior high school students， but also lead them to learn the traditional customs and traditional culture of English-speaking countries. So that junior high school students can better master the English knowledge they have learned while learning the language， and after comparing the differences between Chinese and Western cultures， they have the ability to communicate and achieve the purpose of learning English.

語言能力是交流的前提条件，可是拥有语言能力并不代表具备交流的能力，初中生一般都可以说出正确的英语句子，可是没有办法做到在不同的场合说出恰当的语言，所以文化上的区别是进行交流的阻碍。对此，英语老师应该重视语言上的文化区别。文化意识的培养不仅要注重掌握语言知识，还要注重语言的灵活利用。在学习英语的同时了解国外文化，有助于学生对英语知识的理解以及利用。

一、培养文化意识的意义

目前，伴随着经济全球化的持续深入，世界每个国家之间的联系愈发密切，而语言是人和人之间沟通的关键工具，其对促进全球化的发展、社会的进步都具有非常重要的推动作用。我国作为世界上最大的发展中国家，对经济全球化的发展存在一定程度的影响，为了更好地推动我国的发展，一直以来，我国都把英语当作第二语言进行教学，因此人们对英语这门学科非常熟悉。而语言和文化是不能分开的，在进行语言教学的过程中，要有意识地加入语言背后所蕴含的文化意义，进一步提升初中生对语言的学习和理解能力，从而提高英语教学的品质以及效率。……
