AbstractOn the basis of combing the basic situation， characteristics and quality of the employment of 2018-2020 English graduates from the school of foreign languages of Jiangsu University of science and technology， this paper analyzes the factors affecting the employment of English graduates from science and engineering colleges， and discusses the reasonable suggestions for the employment promotion of English graduates from science and engineering colleges.

当前受高校毕业生规模逐年攀升、就业市场结构性矛盾等因素影响，高校毕业生面临的就业形势严峻复杂。在由智联招聘所发布的《就业困难大学生群体研究报告》中，2020年6月外语类专业学生占就业困难学生比例近4%。[1]相较于师范类学校以及外语类院校毕业生有较为明确的就业方向或较高的行业认可度，理工科院校英语专业毕业生在同等就业竞争条件下处于弱势，存在竞争力偏弱，就业压力大、就业质量不高的情况，面临着更多困难与挑战。本文在梳理江苏科技大学外国语学院2018-2020届英语专业毕业生就业情况，分析影响理工科院校英语专业毕业生就业的因素，并探讨理工院校英语专业毕业生就业提升的合理化建议。

1英语专业毕业生就业现状与分析

1.1整体就业形势平稳，选择继续深造比例逐年提高

江苏科技大学外国语学院2018-2020届英语专业毕业生总人数为195人。从表1中数据可见，各年度毕业生整体就业率处于高位，仅2020届有个别毕业生因受疫情等因素影响仍未就业；就业步入职场（包括就业、灵活就业）仍是主要就业去向，三年平均占比达77.44%，但占比逐年下降；……
