摘 要 20世纪80年代以来，翻译研究的“文化转向”拓宽了研究视野，将翻译置于历史、文化、政治等语境中研究。受到“文化专向”的启发，本文拟将从外部因素意识形态出发，进行Evolution and Ethics 两个中译本在中国的接受情况的对比研究。本文发现译作代表的“意识形态”与目的语社会意识形态或融合或背离的实际情况很大程度操控了译作的接受情况。

On the Reception of Translated Works from the Perspective of "Ideology"

Abstract In the 1980s， the "Culture Turn" of translation studies refreshing translation studies contexts， looking at translation under such wider realms as history， culture， politics， etc.. In the light of this trend， a contrastive study of different receptions of the two Chinese versions of Evolution and Ethics in their respective historical periods is carried out from an extra-textual perspective of ideology. It is revealed that the reception of any translation work is largely manipulated by the fact that whether its ideology is in harmony with or conflict to that of its target society.

0 引言

20世纪80年代随着翻译研究的“文化转向”，越来越多的学者将翻译置于社会文化大背景下研究，纷纷将翻译研究与历史、文化和政治等文本外因素联系起来。于是很快“操纵”、“改写”、“意识形态”和“赞助人”这些关键词就成了翻译研究者们笔下的高频词汇。可以说“文化转向”瞬间拉宽了翻译研究的维度，将传统文本翻译研究拓宽到文本外研究范式，将研究的重心从语言本身转变为语言的外部影响因素。因此，本文试图将翻译研究的视角从本体延伸至文本外部因素，从译作接受与意识形态的关联入手，通过自然科学译作的接受个案研究探讨了译作接受过程中译作与社会意识形态的对话，试图探索译作本体意识形态与社会意识形态之间的互动关系，以及这种关系所带来的影响，希望藉此引发更多学者对翻译研究中意识形态这一文本外因素的关注。本文选取了Evolution and Ethics的两个中译本进行对比研究，旨在考察译作接受过程中意识形态的对话过程，即译作本体代表的意识范畴和社会主流意识范畴的相遇、争论、妥协，最后走向融合或分裂的对话过程。……
