摘 要：民办高等教育是伴随经济建设与社会发展而出现的一种高等教育类型。近些年来，在对民办高等教育的诸多研究中，民办高校人才培养越来越受到国内外专家学者的重视，成为研究的热点问题。我国民办高校的迅速发展，不仅在人才培养的数量上为地方经济建设和有关行业做出了一定贡献，而且在人才培养模式上也有了一定创新，民办高等教育已成为高等教育的重要组成部分。文章对厦门工学院为探索人才培养新模式而施行的系列教育教学改革实践进行介绍，以期为同类院校提供参考；另一方面探析民办高校本科教学工作中存在的主要问题，以厘清民办高校教育教学改革和发展的思路。

Abstract： Private higher education is a kind of higher education that comes along with economic construction and social development. In recent years， in many studies of education for private institutions， the cultivation of talent cultivation in private colleges has become a hot topic of research. The rapid development of private colleges in our country， not only in the number of training talents for local economic construction and related industries to make a certain contribution， and also had certain on personnel training mode innovation， private higher education has become an important part of higher education. This paper introduces the practice of education teaching reform in xiamen institute of technology to explore the new mode of talent training， with a view to providing reference for similar institutions. On the other hand， this paper analyzes the main problems existing in the undergraduate teaching in private colleges and universities to clarify the reform and development of education teaching in private colleges and universities.

厦门工学院自建校起办学已经七年。七年间，立足“厦工”特色，持续探索人才培養新模式，学校实现了跨越式发展，并于2015年5月由原来的华侨大学独立学院成功转设为独立本科高校。本文主要包含两部分内容：一是介绍我校七年来为探索具有“厦工”特色的人才培养模式而施行的教育教学改革，以期为同类院校提供参考；二是根据我们的实践，探析民办高校本科教学工作中存在的主要问题，以厘清民办高校教育教学改革和发展的思路。

一、探索 “厦工”特色人才培养模式，持续推进教育教学改革

建校以来，为探索具有“厦工”特色的人才培养模式，学校始终把提高教育教学质量作为学校发展的根本任务，深化教学改革，建立健全教学质量监控体系，不断优化人才培养机制，教育教学质量不断提高。……
