摘要：社会符号学作为符号学的一个分支，目的是研究人类在特定社会文化环境中的意指实践活动。韩礼德（1978）首次把社会符号学这一概念运用于语言学，受韩礼德先生社会符号学理论的影响，多模态的意义建构被广泛关注，因此诞生了“多模态符号学”，即社会符号学视角下的多模态研究。本文以四川外国语大学70周年校庆徽标为例，阐明数字，色彩，构图等非文字形式的社会符号如何实现校庆徽标这一模态话语的意义构建，同时探究校庆徽标这一类模态所传达的社会意义。

Abstract：As a branch of semiotics， social semiotics aims to study human's ideographic practice in a specific social and cultural environment.Halliday （1978） first applied the concept of social semiotics to linguistics. Under the influence of Halliday's social semiotics theory， the meaning construction of multimodal was widely concerned. Therefore， "multimodal semiotics" was born， that is， multimodal research from the perspective of social semiotics.Taking the logo of the 70th anniversary celebration of Sichuan International Studies University as an example， this paper illustrates how non-literal social symbols such as numbers， colors and composition realize the meaning construction of the modal discourse of the university anniversary logo， and explores the social meaning conveyed by such modes of the university anniversary logos.

自上世纪90年代以来，随着科技的蓬勃发展以及大数据和信息化时代的来临，人类的社会生活和交流方式发生了极大的变化，社会活动的信息传递越来越多元化、数字化、多模态化。张德禄（2009）指出“多模态话语指运用视觉、听觉、触觉等多种感觉，通过文字、语音、图像、色彩、音乐动作等多种符号资源进行社会交际的现象”。西方的一些学者从图像、数字、手势、电影等各个方面构建了语法语义系统，搭建了模态的研究框架。

图像作为重要的传达信息的非语言手段，广泛运用于社会，由于文字本身特点所导致的非简洁性，各类标志设计通常以图像为主文字为辅，如品牌商标、大型活动的徽标、公司标志等，能更清晰地傳递意义。本文以四川外国语大学（简称“川外”）70周年校庆徽标为例，考察其所传递的模态意义，对多模态话语有进一步的认识。……
