摘 要 高校图书馆是图书馆体系的核心，具有馆藏资源的绝对优势。经济社会对信息要素和资源共享的重视，要求高校图书馆进行服务模式的转变，更好地利用资源、服务社会。本文从图书馆职能、高校的社会职能、时代进步等三方面论述了高校图书馆提供社会化服务的必然性，并从对群众文化生活、地区教育、资源配置的作用角度论述了高校图书馆社会服务的实际价值，最后提出对高校图书馆以社会化服务拥抱未来的展望。

The Analysis of the Social Service Value of University Library

Abstract University libraries are the core of the library system， with absolute advantage of collection resources. The importance of information elements and resource-sharing in current social economy demands the university libraries to change their service mode so as to make better use of resources and serve the society. The inevitability of university libraries providing social service from three aspects are discussed in the paper， such as the function of library， the social function of university， the progress of the times. Then the actual value of social service provided by university libraries is analyzed from the perspective of mass cultural life， regional education and resource allocation. Finally， the prospects of university libraries embracing the future with social service are put forward.

0 引言

随着网络技术的高速发展，信息成为一种新的生产要素，在经济社会发展中被极大重视，信息资源的丰富度，对经济增长和社会生活具有重要影响。而以开发信息资源为主要职能之一的图书馆，更是有着资源中心的定位。当前我国的图书馆业机构中，公共图书馆与普通高等学校图书馆（下称“高校圖书馆”）位于核心地位，其馆藏资源、服务范围、专业化程度对比其他图书馆业机构具有绝对优势。因此，公共图书馆与高校图书馆毋庸置疑地成为信息资源获取、存储与开发的中流砥柱，肩负着以资源服务经济社会发展的责任。然而，与公共图书馆高度社会化的开放服务不同，传统高校图书馆首先以支撑高校教育教学、科学研究等需求为目标，在服务对象上常常局限于在校学生和教职员工，图书馆服务的社会化程度低、边界明显。……
