摘 要 高等教育统计工作具有国家层面的权威性，能够客观地反映学校的办学实力和水平。高等教育统计中涉及图书馆的单独统计指标仅有建筑面积、藏书数量和数字资源量，对图书馆员的统计则隐含在教辅人员之中。由于图书馆组织系统拥有场地资源、信息资源、人力资源三个必要构件，因此在高等教育统计中增加“图书馆员”统计指标有着十分重要意义，“图书馆员”统计指标具有非常强的可操作性。

Research on Addition of the Librarian Statistics Indicator in Advanced

Educational Statistics

Abstract The work of advanced educational statistics has the authority on the national level， which can reflect the strength and level of the university running objectively. Advanced educational statistics which are related to the separated statistical indicator of library only includes building area， the number of book collections and the amount of the digital resources. The statistics of librarian is implicit in that of the teaching auxiliary staff. Because the library organizational system has three essential components， including field resources， information resources and human resources， it is of great importance for adding the statistical indicator of librarian to the advanced educational statistics， and the statistical indicator of librarian has great feasibilities.

高校图书馆是为高校教学和科研服务的，虽不是处于一线的教学单位，但发挥的作用更接近于教学单位，与其他教辅部门是有一定差别的。图书馆员是馆藏资源与读者之间的纽带，其服务能力和水平直接影响读者利用图书馆的效率，因此，高等教育统计中应增加“图书馆员”统计指标，并与图书馆建筑面积、馆藏图书和数字资源量[1]70一起构成图书馆统计的基础指标，这样才能较为全面、客观地反映图书馆真实状况，才能使与图书馆密切相关的统计指标体系更加合理、科学、有效[1]72。

1 高等教育统计的权威性

高等教育统计是国家对高等教育实行有效监督、科学管理的重要手段[2]，对教育管理、科学决策和社会服务发挥着重要作用，有助于了解高等院校的综合发展实力和整体发展水平。统计数据公开透明，是学校对外的窗口信息，接受社会监督，有利于促进教育公平。……
