摘要：本文结合我国高等学校本科专业设置、变化、发展的历程，梳理了工科机械类所属的“车辆工程”专业的起源，不同时期的变革、成长与壮大过程，结合汽车行业现状探索了未来发展的趋势。为了解“车辆工程”本科专业的发展历史，以及适应新时期社会经济发展需要进行本专业课程体系及教学内容改革提供参考。

Abstract： This paper combines the course of setting up， changing and developing undergraduate specialty in colleges and universities of our country， combs the origin of "vehicle engineering" specialty， the process of change， growth and growth in different periods， and explores the future development trend in combination with the present situation of automobile industry. It provides a reference for understanding the development history of the undergraduate major of "vehicle Engineering" and the reform of the curriculum system and teaching content to meet the needs of the social and economic development in the new period.

0  引言

“车辆工程”目前在我国普通高等学校本科专业目录中是工学学科门类下机械类所属的16个专业之一。她是随着我国社会经济发展，特别是汽车产业的发展对专业技术人才的需求而逐步发展壮大、完善而来的，且被广泛认知、具有较强影响力的一个专业。本专业培养掌握机械、电子、计算机等全面工程技术基础理论和必要专业知识与技能，了解并重视与车辆技术发展有关人文社会知识，能在企业、科研院（所）等部门，从事与车辆工程有关的产品开发设计、生产制造、试验检测、技术服务、经营销售、运用管理等方面工作，具有较强实践能力和创新精神的高级工程技术人才。

1  我国车辆工程专业的起源

汽车专业是我国办学历史最悠久的工科专业之一，早在20世纪30年代，我国就有大学开设汽车专业或课程[1]。

新中国成立以来，高等教育快速发展，高等学校的工科专业设置，在跟随经济发展的需要中也经历了多次变化。……
