摘要：教育的根本任务是立德树人。党和国家对“立德树人”的论述为高校德育发展提供了有力的依据，奠定了其在教育事业中具有十分重要的地位。此外，教育的终极目的在于培养人和塑造人，道德教育的作用是使人向善向好发展，道德教育有着“使人成为人”的重要意义。同时，教育的根本任务是立德树人，这是从教育者的视角出发的;如果从受教育者的角度出发，则教育的根本目的是“道德成长”，故，立德树人的目的正是使教育者和受教育者均得到“道德成长”。

立德树人思想是我国古已有之的价值理念，高校进行立德树人教育是对教育根本任务和价值的积极探索。2006 年《普通高等学校辅导员队伍建设规定》中从政策角度界定高校辅导员的身份为：辅导员是从事道德育人工作以及思想政治教育的骨干，是高校教师队伍的重要组成部分。此外，在《中华人民共和国职业分类大典》从社会职业体系角度界定高校辅导员为：专业技术人员，隶属于高等教育教师范畴中。

一、立德树人内涵

1.1 立德树人的历史内涵

立德树人思想古已有之，它具有深厚丰富的理论内涵，既是对我国优秀传统教育思想的继承，又是对当下中国特色社会主义教育本質特征和根本目的的凝练。
