摘 要 本文通过对高职院校体育专业英语教学现状和体育专业学生特点进行分析得出，当前高职体育专业英语教学存在授课内容单一，课时安排欠妥，教师知识素质失衡，教材选取缺乏特色，教学考评模式狭窄等问题，同时高职体育专业学生学习能力不足，就业积极性不高。为积极适应体育经济世界化发展，打造体育英语复合人才，培养高职院校体育专业学生英语能力已刻不容缓。

Abstract This article analyzes the status quo of professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges and the characteristics of students in sports majors. It concludes that the current professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges has a single teaching content， the arrangement of lesson time is incorrect， the teachers' knowledge quality is out of balance， the selection of teaching materials lacks characteristics， and teaching The narrow evaluation model and other issues， while vocational sports students lack of learning ability， employment enthusiasm is not high. In order to actively adapt to the world-wide development of the sports economy and create a composite talent for sports English， it is imperative to cultivate the English ability of sports majors in higher vocational colleges.

近年，我國体育事业蓬勃发展，各项体育运动成绩斐然。随着体育经济的世界化趋势，培养体育专业人才的英语能力已成为亟待解决的实际问题。在此时代背景之下，我国开设体育英语专业的体育院校不断增多，目前已超过了10所。然而，由于开设体育专业的体育院校大部分均为本科院校，其人才培养方案并不一定适用于三年制的专科体育学生。基于此，本文拟从高职院校体育专业学生的学习特点及就业要求角度，分析对其进行英语能力培养的必要性，以期对培养专科体育英语复合人才起到有效的指导与帮助作用。

1 体育英语能力

高职体育院校作为培养实用型体育人才的集中后方，开始思索培养高职体育复合人才的办法与出路，其中，培养高职体育专业学生的体育英语能力是关键所在。陈珊（2013）认为，体育英语（Sport English）可以定义为：既可以是体育文化在英语中的体现，也可以指在英语中表述体育项目或者体育相关职业中所用的语言变体，简单地说，凡是一切在体育运动或相关体育事务中用于沟通的英语变体都可成为体育英语。……
