一、教学背景分析

本课的话题为健康建议。在本单元的Getting Ready 部分，充满生活气息的图片展示了多种健康生活习惯，学生借助图片引导，学习了这些良好习惯的表达方法；第10课中，通过听力练习，学生掌握了病症描述和建议治疗的基础词汇。在本课中，学生将围绕健康话题，通过阅读学习，解决生活中的常见问题，增强健康意识，养成健康习惯。

本课的教学设计以对课文的理解为主，学生通过阅读，找出四个人的问题，并与专家提出的相应健康建议进行匹配，同时获取有关建议的细节信息；并利用所学，解决生活中的常见问题。读后通过句子归类、依据关键词针对上述问题口头提出建议，不断内化课文信息和语言，最后在此基础上，依据教师所创设的真实情境，针对所选的具体问题，给出健康建议，进行输出活动。

二、教学目标

话题：健康建议

词汇：advice， soap， sleepy， smoke， harmful， example， time， air， should， earphone， volume， wonder

策略：读前预测；捕捉关键词抓主要信息、匹配相对应的健康建议。

功能句：For a…， you should…，If you （dont） want to…， you should…，It is adj. to …

重点：认读与健康建议相关的词汇“bird flu， soap， sleepy， harmful， earphone， volume”等， 能够在句子中使用；通过阅读，找出四个人的问题，与专家提出的相应健康建议进行匹配，并获取有关建议的细节信息。

难点：读后通过归类、关键词，结合所学的句型针对健康问题口头提出建议。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up

教师活动：

1. T asks Ss to figure out the healthy habits they saw in the video and says： In order to keep healthy， we should not only have healthy habits， but also have to treat the illnesses.

2. T shows the pictures of different symptoms and asks some questions to review the phrases and sentence structure ‘you should +V. and leads in the title of this lesson Health Advice.

1. Whats wrong / the matter with the person in the picture？

2.What should I do when I have a …？

学生活动：

1. Ss see a video and figure out the healthy habits shown in the video.

2. Ss recall words about symptoms and advice.

3. Ss talk about the topic in pairs.

设计意图：

1.通过课前观看视频，识别视频中的健康生活习惯。

2.通过图片和问题，简单复习上节课所学词汇和should句型表达，引入本课：健康建议。

Step 2 Lead-in

教师活动：

1. T asks Ss “What healthy habits do you have？”

2. T shows photos and asks Ss “What healthy habits can you see？” and elicits some phrases and new words ‘soap and ‘sleepy. Ss repeat the new words after teacher.

3. T may ask Ss “Why do people do these things？” while they are talking about the habits.
