摘 要：如何设计高中英语阅读课，与学生互动，提高学生学习兴趣？笔者以人教版英语选修六Unit 5 The power of nature， Reading-part： An exciting job的泛读课为例，精心设计，调动学生阅读积极性，提高学生英语水平。

新课标实施以来，多数教师尽心安排教学内容，努力追求达到新课程标准。本课例是人教版英语选修六Unit 5《The power of nature》， Reading-part： An exciting job的泛读课， 笔者用歌曲导入，设计运用TRACEBOOK课件的特殊功能，如运用其聚光灯，拉幕，让学生用白板笔调整模块位置，给模块重新排序，模仿刮开刮刮卡等。让学生眼前一亮，调动阅读积极性，逐渐提高学生英语水平。

Teaching procedures && ways 教学过程与方式

Step 1 Warming Up

Listen to a song《whose name is volcano》.

T： Just now ， we listened to a song《whose name is volcano》. It's very hot， Just like this picture. So， look at it ，what is it？

S： Volcano.

T： Yes， it is a volcano. Now ， let's do some quizzes. If you can answer them correctly， there are some small gifts for you. First， how is a volcano formed？

Look at the screen.（ and a picture）

T：Next question. What types of volcanoes do you know？

T： There are three types of volcanoes. Extince volcanos， active volcanoes and dormant volcanoes.

Now， let's watch a video and learn more information about volcanoes.

【设计意图】Warming Up，以一首名为VOLCANO的歌曲导入，播放一个关于火山知识的小视频，设计两个关于火山形成及分类的小测试，增加学生对火山知识的了解。答对的学生会得到小奖品，提高学生的学习兴趣。

Step 2 Reading

T：Look at the screen， he is a volcanologist， and he is studying a volcano. And the title of the reading is an exciting job. Now according to the title and the picture， try to predict what will be talked about in the text.

S：…

Ok， now ， lets reading this text. After reading ， let's see if his idea is right.

First， read the passage quickly and then match the main idea with each part.

You have five minutes to read.（Ss read）

T： Time is up. I will ask some students here and use this pen to do it .

This time， read Para.1 carefully and answer one question. Why does the author say that he has the greatest job in the job.

Now read Para 2 and fill in the blanks.

（ What does the author's job include？）

（Ss read and fill the content into the blanks on the screen.）

T： Read para3 and 4， and do some true or false exercises.

T： Nest exercise. What did the author experience one day in the second week after he arrived in Hawaii？ Work with your partners and put the sentences in the correct order.

T： Now， listen to the last Para. And answer this question. What is the author amazed at even after studying volcanoes for many years？

T： It is amazing that volcanoes have very beautiful sights. But on the other hand， the potential to cause great damage is terrifying.

【设计意图】利用白板和学生互动，运用其聚光灯、拉幕等功能，让学生在白板上排序、填空，模仿“刮刮卡”，提高学生的学习兴趣。将全篇文章分成三部分，针对每一阅读部分设计了连线题、判断句子正误题，填空题，问答题等。提高学生从阅读材料中找到相关信息的能力。

Step 3 Discussion

After reading the whole passage， let's discuss something according to what you have read. What qualities do you think volcanologists should have.

（Ss discuss in groups and share their opinions to the class. Then T concludes them on the black board.

Enjoy taking risk and adventure.

Have a good knowledge of volcanoes.

Be interested in studying rocks and other things that form the surface of the earth.

Be interested in travelling to unusual places and meet different people.）

【设计意图】Discussion 学生小组讨论火山学家应具有的特质，旨在让学生从刚阅读的文章中归纳总结，运用已掌握的词汇和短语，组织语言，描述火山学家应具有的特质，锻炼用英语“说”的能力。
