Abstract Thenew liberal arts initiative poses new demandsforthecultivating talentsin international Wushu promotion.By using the methods of literature study and logical analysis，this paper studies the cultivation mode of Wushu international promotion talents at Capital University of Physical Education and Sports （CUPES）.The researchholdsthatunder thebackgroundofnew liberalarts initiative，thecultivationofWushu international promotion talents should take the initiative to undertake the new historical misson，actively respond to the changes in scientificand technological means，ground themselves inthe Sinicization ofWushu international promotion and continue to promote the internationalization of talent cultivation for Wushu promotion. CUPES has built anew cultivationsystem integrating Chinese and foreign theoretical frameworks for Wushu international promotion talent development，implementing thephilosophyof integrating training fordomestic and internationalstudents，parallel practice and interships in domesticand overseas setings，and integrating domestic educational platform with foreign teaching resources;through the innovative models of“Five Integrations\"and “Three Inclusions”，the university has pioneered a new paradigm for cultivating compound talents. Additionally，it has developed athree-dimensional and comprehensive social practice education pathway featuring“cam pus resources+of-campus resources”and“domesticsocialpracticeplatforms+overseas socialpracticeplatforms\". 2018年，全国教育大会发出了加快推进教育现代化的动员令，要求努力构建德智体美劳全面培养的教育体系，形成更高水平的人才培养体系。2020年，《新文科建设宣言》发布，为新时代文科教育发展指明了方向。其中提出：文科门类众多、特色各异的特点决定了新文科建设必须分类推进；要根据各自学科专业特点，结合行业领域特定问题，分类推进；聚焦国家新一轮对外开放战略和“一带一路\"建设，加大涉外人才培养，加强高校与实务部门、国内与国外“双协同”，完善全链条育人机制。2021年，习近平总书记在中共中央政治局第三十次集体学习时强调，要深刻认识新形势下加强和改进国际传播工作的重要性和必要性，下大气力加强国际传播能力建设[1。在国家新一轮对外开放战略实施和“一带一路\"建设中，讲好中国故事，传播好中国声音，展示真实、立体、全面的中国，提高国家文化软实力和中华文化影响力，中国武术推广者对此责无旁贷，而武术教育工作者又承担着培养新时代中华优秀传统文化的传承者的重要任务，所以武术教育是新文科建设工作中的重要场域

新形势下的武术国际推广对武术人才的知识储备、运动能力等综合素质提出了新的要求，武术国际推广人才培养要更加精细化、专业化和科学化。从新文科建设要求而言，武术国际推广人才的培养要围绕举旗帜、聚民心、育新人、兴文化、展形象的使命任务，大力推动中华优秀传统文化创造性转化和创新性发展，培养出满足国家战略需求和国际社会需求的武术国际推广人才。……
