(1)Cf. Michael Della Rocca, “Descartes, the Cartesian Circle, and Epistemology without God”, Philosophy & Phenomenological Research 70, 2005, pp.1-33.,同时也存在多种为他辩护的观点。
(2)Cf. Alan Gewirth, “The Cartesian Circle”, The Philosophical Review 50, 1941, p.394.。 (3)Ruth Weintraub, “The Cartesian Circle and Two Forms of Scepticism”, History of Philosophy Quarterly 14, 1997, p.373; James Van Cleve, “Foundationalism, Epistemic Principles, and the Cartesian Circle”, The Philosophical Review 88, 1979, pp.60-61.。
(4)Cf. Willis Doney, “The Cartesian Circle”, Journal of the History of Ideas 16, 1955, pp.325-329.。 (5)Cf. Harry Frankfurt, “Memory and the Cartesian Circle”, Philosophical Review 71, 1962, p.506; Donald F. Dreisbach, “Circularity and Consistency in Descartes”, Canadian Journal of Philosophy 8, 1978, p.71.。
(6)Cf. Louis Loeb, “The Cartesian Circle”, The Cambridge Companion to Descartes, ed. by John Cottingham, Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1992, pp.200-235.。
