摘 要 《江苏艺文志》初版及增订本 ，是由江苏当代学人接力式推进，并取得学术水准新提升的成果，体现了前仆后继、薪尽火传、精益求精的人文精神。本文通过回望《江苏艺文志》初版的诞生，以及全面增订所取得的成果，指出集江苏文人学士著述书目之大成的《江苏艺文志（增订本）》，必将成为海内外学术文化史研究者的案头必备之书。

Abstract The first edition and the updated edition of Jiangsu Art and Literature History were promoted by Jiangsu contemporary scholars in a relay manner and has achieved new improvement in academic standards， which reflects the humanistic spirit of wave after wave， passing on the generations and striving for perfection. This paper， by reviewing the birth of the first edition and the achievements of the overall revision， points out that Jiangsu Art and Literature History （the Updated Edition）， which is the masterpiece of the bibliography of Jiangsu scholars， will surely become an essential book for the researchers of academic and cultural history at home and abroad.

《江蘇艺文志》是一个由当代学者接力式推进取得可持续提升成果的学术大工程，体现了参与其事的江苏当代学者前仆后继、务实求真，并继往开来、与时俱进的人文精神。记得当年“常州卷”问世后，主编赵国璋先生（1923—2004）即在南京师范大学华夏图书馆的办公室里亲笔题赠了我一册，从而得知该套书以当时江苏全省的行政区划，将按地区出版11卷的浩大计划，且知其发凡起例、统稿改定过程之非易。日月如梭，逝者如斯，不觉26年过去了。今春忽得《江苏艺文志》 一整箱，始知该书全面增订之本，已由南京师范大学文学院教授江庆柏先生接棒主编后，在凤凰出版社精装问世。摩挲展阅之余，遂欣然命笔作文，附丽于卷尾。

《江苏艺文志（增订本）》约有1300万字，收录古来江苏地域29 614 位文人学士的著述书目85 304种。著作者的生活时代下限，则截至于1949年10月中华人民共和国成立之前。其中包含部分流寓江苏的作者及其在江苏有重要影响的著述，如“苏州卷”开篇人物，即是春秋末齐国人孙武（公元前545-公……
