摘  要：基于经济全球化和国家安全战略的需要，美国外语教学委员会在1996年出台了《21世纪外语学习标准》， 该文件是美国国内最具权威性和指导性的语言教学基准文件。文章依据我国最新的《大学英语教学指南》，结合该标准的具体内容， 提出我国农业高校英语教学新模式，即创建真实有意义的交际情境;增强学生的文化感知力和理解力;加强学生对多元语言文化的对比;促进语言学习与其他学科内容的有机融合;组织多种多样的线上线下社区活动。

Abstract： American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages published Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century in 1996 to meet the demands of economic globalization and state security. This document is the most authoritative and instructive one which guides the language teaching throughout the country. Based on the latest National College English Teaching Guidelines and integrating them with the standards， this paper puts forward the brand-new English teaching model in the agricultural university. This model is characterized by creating true meaningful communicative contexts， increasing students' perception and understanding of cultures， enhancing students' consciousness of contrasting multiple languages and cultures， promoting the combination of language learning and other subjects， organizing diversity of community activities online and offline.

当前，经济全球化将世界各国人民的命运紧紧相连。英语作为使用最为广泛的世界通用语，成为人们进行科技、文化、管理经验、思想理念相互交流的重要工具。由于英语是美国的母语，所以人们认为外语教育在美国不受重视。然而真实的情况是怎样的呢？为提高本国学生的外语能力和人文素质，应对21世纪的挑战， 1996年美国外语教学委员会与多个外语教师协会共同出台了《21世紀外语学习标准》，于1999年、2006年、2015年三次修订。20多年来，该文件推动了美国外语教学的改革，对世界范围的二语教学领域产生了深远影响^[1]。在大力倡导外语教学改革的今天，美国这一面向幼儿园、中小学和大学外语教学的标准，值得我们研究和借鉴。
