摘  要：中美兩国经济、历史、文化背景不同，两国的档案信息服务各有特点。美国档案信息服务相关的法律制度完善，管理方式、管理理念先进。我国档案部门应健全档案信息服务制度，优化档案信息服务方式，加强档案信息服务意识，提升档案信息服务技术，使我国的档案信息服务更好地适应信息化时代的发展。

Abstract： China and the United States have different economic， historical， and cultural backgrounds， and the archival information services of the two countries have their own characteristics. The United States has a complete legal system related to archives information services， with advanced management methods and management concepts. The archives department of our country should improve the archive information service system， optimize the archive information service method， strengthen the awareness of archive information service， and upgrade the archive information service technology， so that my country's archive information service can better adapt to the development of the information age.

我国近年来档案信息服务水平有一定的提高，但和美国相比还有不小的差别。美国的档案信息服务有完善的法律保障，服务理念先进，服务方式多样化，档案信息利用率高，这些都值得我们档案部门学习借鉴，促进我国档案信息服务更好地发展。

1 美国档案信息服务的特点及现状分析

1.1 美国档案信息服务工程起步较早。1995年，美国着手实施“美国记忆”工程，主要由图书馆、档案馆等部门参与，将美国重要的、有纪念意义的历史档案数字化。同一时期还推出了“数字图书馆计划”，用户可在线浏览阅读，通过和搜索引擎的结合，档案检索能力进一步提高。

1.2 美国档案信息服务机构较多，信息资源丰富。美国档案信息服务机构众多，层次不一。既包括国家层次的联邦档案机构如美国国家档案馆，又包括各州政府建设的地方档案机构如密西根州档案馆，同时还包括一些知名企业建设的商业档案机构，各种档案信息服务机构已达到7000多个。用户可通过档案馆实体服务和在线服务获取各种所需要的信息。……
