摘 要 杰出的榜样人物对于群体发展有着重要的意义。《应对变革：30年来美国图书馆楷模人物撷英》一书，聚焦美国“年度图书馆员”和“年度辅助图书馆员”获奖者这一楷模人物群体，通过讲述他们的成长故事和取得的成就，帮助图书馆工作者理清思路，减少路径选择的茫然、困惑与盲动，为图书馆从业者提供可资参照的职业标杆，为推动图书馆事业发展找到行之有效的解决方案，值得每一位图书馆员阅读。

Abstract Outstanding model figures are of great significance to the group development. The book， Coping with Change： A Collection of Exemplary Figures in American Libraries in the Past 30 Years， focuses on the exemplary groups of American “Annual Librarians” and “Annual Auxiliary Librarians”.   By telling their growth stories and achievements， it helps librarians to clear their minds， reduce the confusion and blind movement of path selection， provide a career benchmark for library practitioners， and find effective solutions to promoting the development of the library industry， so it is worth reading for every librarian.
