摘要消防工程专业英语是新工科背景下消防工程人才培養的一门重要课程，是提高消防工程人才质量、提升人才国际化水平的重要举措。本文分析了国内高校消防工程专业英语课程的开设规模、教学内容和教学形式三个方面，总结了当前在课程建设发展过程中的不足，进而提出了加快消防工程专业英语课程的建议和措施，包括扩大课程开设范围和规模，建立完善的消防工程专业英语授课内容体系，以及创新使用多样化的课堂授课形式，为新工科背景下消防工程专业英语课程教学模式和内容改革提供参考和借鉴。

Discussion on Teaching Mode and Content Reform of Fire Engineering English under the Background of New Engineering

AbstractFire engineering professional English is an important course for the training of fire engineering talents under the background of new engineering. It is an important measure to improve the quality of fire engineering talents andenhancetheinternationalizationleveloftalents. This paperanalyzesthethreeaspects oftheopeningscale，teaching content and teaching form of fire engineering professional English course in domestic colleges and universities， summarizes the shortcomings in the current course construction and development，and then puts forward some suggestions and measures to speed up the fire engineering professional English course， including expanding the scope and scale of the course， establishing a perfect teaching content system of fire engineering professional English， and the innovative use of diversified classroom teaching forms to provide reference and reference for the teaching mode and content reform of English course for fire engineering specialty under the background of new engineering.

随着我国经济社会的不断发展，电力用量持续增加，导致消防安全事故发生的可能性以及危害程度都大大增加。为了同步跟进国家安全事业的发展，消防工程专业的理论技术和人才培养工作越来越受到重视。[1]在2017年，国家教育部颁布了《关于开展新工科研究与实践的通知》等文件。对于消防工程专业来说，在符合国家经济社会发展需要，培养复合型、高层次、国际化消防专业人才等方面也提出了更加迫切的要求。

消防工程是一门综合性的学科，不仅涉及物理学、化学、力学等工程类学科，还涉及心理学、管理学等人文社会学科。从社会对消防工程人才的需求出发，在消防工程学习过程中，重要目标之一是熟练掌握国内外消防工程基本原理、方针、政策、法规，具有较强科学研究、文件检索等实际工作能力。……
