摘要“岩石与土壤”单元隶属于地球与宇宙科学领域，岩石和土壤是地球的重要资源。本单元的设计着力体现科学概念与科学探究双螺旋共生发展的编写思路，即指导学生充分开展观察、实验、描述、分析、比较、推理、概括等科学实践活动，逐步建构岩石和土壤的科学概念。通过本单元的学习，使学生知道岩石和土壤的相关知识，初步掌握一些科学观察方法，激发他们探究岩石和土壤的兴趣，提升他们保护自然资源的意识。

Interpretation of“Rock and Soil”Unit and Teaching Suggestions

Abstract： "Rock and soil" unit belongs to the field of earth and cosmos science. Rock and soil are impor？ tant resources of the earth. The design of this unit focuses on the compilation idea of the symbiotic develop？ ment of scientific concept and scientific inquiry， that is， to guide students to fully carry out scientific practice activities such as observation， experiment， description， analysis， comparison， reasoning and generalization， and gradually construct scientific concepts of rock and soil. Through the study of this unit， the students will know the relevant knowledge of rock and soil， initially master some scientific observation methods， stimulate their inter？ est in exploring rock and soil， and enhance their awareness of protecting natural resources.

单元概述

“岩石与土壤”单元隶属于地球与宇宙科学领域，岩石和土壤是地球的重要资源。通过本单元的学习，使学生知道岩石和土壤的相关知识，初步掌握一些科学观察方法，激发他们探究岩石和土壤的兴趣，提升他们保护自然资源的意识。

1.单元组成

本单元共安排8课，在旧教材的基础上做了删减与补充，最大的变化是将岩石与土壤的学习进行了联结，使知识结构更加合理，体现了教科版《科学》教材指向大概念建构的大单元结构的设计理念与追求。其中，对岩石和矿物的内容做了减法，尤其是有关矿物的内容由4课减为1课，这些变化均依据现行课程标准的要求，以及在调研中对学情的了解。在此基础上，增加了4课土壤内容的学习和动手实践活动。

这样编排主要基于4点考虑：一是减少容量，降低难度。主要体现在岩石和矿物的内容编排上，对于矿物的学习是从岩石组成的角度切入的。……
