Abstract： The high development of the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics has provided a stable foundation for the progress of information technology， and the popularization of information technology has driven China's economic transformation and development to a certain extent. A virtuous circle has been formed between them， especially in the process of urbanization， information technology has played a positive role that can not be ignored. Based on the experience and requirements of smart city construction， this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the main functions of smart light poles. On this basis， it also explores the technological optimization and future development trend of smart light poles in modular development.
