一、教学内容简介：本节课文本选自英文名著阅读书虫系列之《傲慢与偏见》的第五章。本章节围绕Collins两次求婚来展开，通过赏析人物语言和行为，判断人物性格特征，进而分析其相应的婚姻观。

二、教学设计

（一）Reading Objectives

1.通过分析人物的语言和行为，判断人物的性格特征。

2.通过比较Mr.Collins，Elizabeth和Lucas的性格、婚姻观来判断求婚结果，进而引导学生的婚姻观。

3. 在比较三个人物婚姻观的基础上，学生形成自己对未来婚姻的想法。

（二）Teaching procedures

I Warming up： In the novel， Pride and Prejudice， who is your favorite character？ Why？

II Before appreciation：

Step 1： Review the previous chapters.

Chapter 1 The Bennets new neighbour

Chapter 2 Janes illness

Chapter 3 Mr. Collins visits Longbourn

Chapter 4 Elizabeth meets Mr. Wickham

Step2： Characters ——fill in the blank and complete the character network according to information in Chapter5.

三、教学反思

本节课是借助于Chapter5的文本内容，通过剖析主要人物Elizabeth， Mr. Collins 和Charlotte Lucas 的语言和行为，总结其人物性格特征和每个人的婚姻观，最后引导学生分享自己的婚姻观，达到启发和育人的教学目标。下面针对于本节课的收获做一下反思：

收获一：教学目标引领整堂课。

本节课的所有环节都是为这两个目标而设计的。导入部分利用前四章主要内容，让学生对已读作品内容有个整体的把握，也为本章阅读内容的开展和阅读任务的有效完成，做好了铺垫;人物关系梳理，本节课定位为人物赏析课，人物关系的梳理必然是赏析开展顺利最基本的保证;赏析语言和人物行为，人物的性格和婚姻观淋漓尽致的体现在其语言和做事的方式方法中，学生找到问题的答案并不难，有难度的是需要在这些琐碎的语言和事件中體会和提炼出人物的性格和对待婚姻的观点;学生观点分享，这一环节是将学生从课堂中梳理的人物特点的基础上阐述自己对待婚姻的观点，每个人的观点有可能大不相同，因此教师给出了自己的理解，正确引导学生多读书，使自己成为一名睿智的人，理智的对待自己的婚姻。

收获二：问题设计环环相扣，步步为营。

教学目标是一堂课的风向标，那么问题的设计就是整堂课的一连串的路标，引领着学生经过四十五分钟的学习，有效的达成既定的教学目标。本节课核心问题只有六个，但是在实际课堂行进过程中会增加引领学生高阶思维的追问。这些既定问题和追问都具有一定的连贯性和实用价值，有效引导学生从事实性信息的抓取到高阶思维的深层次思考和理解，真正实现课堂上学生思维的高效进行。
