Abstract： In recent years， the level of computer technology in China's scientific and technological development process is also gradually improving， in various industries and fields of network technology has been widely used and popularized， but also for the development of the industry has played a huge role and significance. For the construction of lan network is a more important project in the whole process of network engineering， has been greatly valued， because LAN construction is an effective means of office in the realization of automated office， can reduce the rapid dissemination of data information is the biggest advantage of small and medium-sized LAN， so as to achieve the sharing of resources.

Keywords： small and medium-sized local area network;
