摘  要：随着改革开放不断的深入，中部崛起政策的进一步贯彻实施，鄂西地区的经济发生了天翻地覆的變化，人们的旅游消费观念已由自然观光、山水旅游开始向健身、娱乐、休闲旅游等方面转变。若能将经济与旅游两者有机地结合起来并充分地开发和利用，对鄂西的经济发展和全民健身计划的顺利实施具有重要的推动作用。分析了宜昌市休闲体育旅游资源的优势，提出以政府牵头，建设区域性休闲体育旅游中心城市为发展战略;大力发展户外运动与休闲体育旅游;挖掘民族传统文化特色;加大资金投入与出台相关扶持政策。

Abstract：With the deepening of reform and opening up and the further implementation of the policy of the rise of the central region， the economy of Western Hubei has undergone tremendous changes. People's concept of tourism consumption has changed from natural tourism， landscape tourism to fitness， entertainment， leisure tourism and other aspects. If the economy and tourism can be organically combined and fully developed and utilized， it will play an important role in promoting the economic development of Western Hubei and the smooth implementation of the national fitness program. The author analyzes the recreation sports tourism resources in Yichang and puts forward suggestions to seize the development opportunity of cities in Three Gorges Area to further develop adventure-oriented tourism and competitive sports tourism with the strategy of constructing a regional recreation sports tourism central city led by government， exploring ethnic culture and increasing in financial investment.

“以其丰富的生态自然资源为基础，以其深厚的民族文化底蕴为灵魂、以其发达的旅游产业为引擎，推动鄂西地区资源整合，经济结构调整和发展方式转变，实现经济社会又好又快的发展[1]。”这是鄂西生态文化旅游圈的主要内涵所在。作为鄂西生态文化旅游圈核心城市，宜昌是全国最具人气的十大旅游热门城市，湖北省最受欢迎的省内旅游目的地。它坐拥得天独厚的长江三峡资源，以千年巴楚文化底蕴孕育了赤诚屈子、绝代昭君。而今又因葛洲坝、三峡大坝水利枢纽工程，堪称中国动力心脏、享誉世界水电之都。鄂西生态文化旅游圈的战略发展对宜昌旅游来说无疑是一次重要的发展机遇。
