摘  要：西南民族档案文献编纂历经千年的积累、百年的探索，为后人留下了一笔巨大的精神文化财富。近四十年来，学术界高度关注西南边疆档案文献整理和研究，从各个方面对西南民族档案史料做了大量编纂、出版工作，取得了丰硕成果。同时，随着国内外越来越多新史料的开放和公布，西南民族档案信息资源还有进一步发掘利用的空间。本文在回顾和总结四十年来西南民族档案文献编纂成就、特点的基础上，展望今后的发展趋势。

Abstract： The compilation of Ethnic Archives literature in the southwestern has been accumulated for thousands of years and explored for hundreds of years，leaving behind a huge spiritual and cultural wealth for future generations. In the past 40 years，the academic circles have paid great attention to the collation and research of Archives literature in the southwest frontier，and have done a lot of compilation and publishing work on Ethnic Archives and historical materials in the southwest from various aspects，and achieved fruitful results. At the same time，with the opening and publication of more and more new historical materials at home and abroad，there is still room for further exploration and utilization of Ethnic archive information resources in the southwestern. Based on the review and summary of the achievements and characteristics of compilation of Ethnic Archives literature in the southwest China in the past 40 years，this paper looks forward to the future development trend.

西南民族檔案文献编纂历史悠久、积淀深厚，古代和近代编纂的大量档案文献汇编成果，为历代中央王朝和地方政府对西南边疆地区的经营治理提供了资政参考。新中国成立后，党和国家十分重视西南边疆史料文献的整理和研究，但受到各种因素的影响，一些珍贵的档案资料未能系统地整理、开放，一些重要的民族文字文献仍未进行翻译、公布，[1]一些濒危的口述档案史料没有得到及时有效的抢救保护，一些前人的编纂实践和理论还未得到全面的概括总结。改革开放四十年来，我国学术界特别是史学界以历史档案开放和国家清史编纂工程为契机，在西南民族档案文献的发掘、整理和利用方面取得新进展，某些领域实现重大突破，为深化西南民族问题研究和“中国边疆学”学科建设提供了翔实可靠的第一手资料。……
