内容提要：《敦煌吐鲁番文书与中古史研究》一書，是为庆祝朱雷先生八十华诞而编写的，39位知名学者为本书提供了41篇文章。本书虽成于众手，但由于作者们学术水平较高，所供稿件是各自研究领域内的精品，因此无论是论述的精深，还是新材料的引介、研究方面，均具有较高的学术价值。此外，忆旧类文章也披露了朱雷先生不少鲜为人知的轶事。

A Review of Documents from Dunhuang & Turfan and

the Research of Chinese Medieval History

Abstract： The book Documents from Dunhuang & Turfan and the Research of Chinese Medieval History was compiled and published to celebrate Mr. Zhu Leis eightieth birthday， it contains 41 papers written by 39 renowned scholars from various related fields of research. Although written by many people， the high academic level of the authors and the careful selection of papers have given high academic value to this book， which is mainly embodied in the penetrating discussion， introduction， and research of new historical materials. In addition， some personal memoirs publicize various anecdotes recorded about the venerated scholar Mr. Zhu.

2016年5月，由孙继民、刘进宝、程存洁、吴成国、魏斌五位先生组成编委会主编的《敦煌吐鲁番文书与中古史研究：朱雷先生八秩荣诞祝寿集》由上海古籍出版社出版，该书共收录39位作者的33篇论文和8篇回忆文章。

关于本书的缘起，《后记》说：“今年是朱老师八十荣寿。在浙江大学刘进宝教授的倡议下，学生们一致认为，将朱老师的学术精神发扬光大，是为朱老师祝寿的最好礼物。”[1]本书的编撰是以继承、发扬朱雷先生的学术精神为初衷的。

收入本书的文章也体现了主编者的这一初衷。朱雷先生治学以敦煌吐鲁番文书见长，同时在汉晋至隋唐史研究方面也有一系列高水平的论文。本书所收的学术论文大多在这两方面选题，作者均为目前国内知名的敦煌吐鲁番学和汉晋隋唐史学者，且除施萍婷先生由于年事较高提供了旧作的修改稿外，其他论文均是首次发表，因此，收入本书的论文大致反映了目前国内敦煌吐鲁番学及汉晋隋唐史研究的前沿成果。……
