【摘 要】随着社会的发展，传统的纸质地图已不能满足人们出行的用图需求。城市旅游电子地图以其便携性、存储丰富、操作功能完善、无极缩放、交互易用性、共享性、多维显示等特性为城市旅游提供了更好的服务。论文介绍了城市旅游电子地图的基本特点在分析决策、专题地图制作、定位导航技术、辅助决策等中的应用，对虚拟现实技术、云端导航信息服务、基于智能手机的电子地图以及智慧旅游等领域的发展趋势进行了展望。

【Abstract】With the development of society， traditional paper maps cant meet the needs of people's travel plans. The electronic maps can provide better service for the city tourism with portability， abundant storage， perfect operation， arbitrary scaling， interactivity and easy-using， sharing， multi-dimension display and so on. This paper introduces the basic characteristics of the electronic map of urban tourism， and its application in the analysis of decision-making， thematic map making， positioning and navigation technology， auxiliary decision-making， etc.. And the trends in virtual reality technology， cloud navigation， information services， smart phone based electronic maps， and intelligent travel are also prospected.

1 引言

地图是旅游必备工具之一，长期以来纸质旅游地图是唯一的选择，但是在当今社会的高速运转条件下，纸质地图已不能满足人们的用图需求。到了20世纪90年代，随着电子地图的出现，使地图脱离墙面或纸张，因其丰富的数据存储、任意比例尺缩放和路径规划、交互操作等多重功能带给人们巨大的便利。还有智能手机的普及，电子地图的智能化和便捷性更加突出，在为城市旅游者提供了极大便利的同时，也促进了城市旅游业的发展。

2 城市旅游电子地图的特点

第一，存储及阅读方式更具优势。随着计算机软、硬件技术的成熟，空间数据库技术对复杂的地图数据和海量的城市旅游等人文信息提供了存储支撑，借助空间数据库的支持，文字图像、音视频和虚拟现实的3D影像等丰富多彩的多媒体形式呈现在使用者面前，有利于调动用户的多种感官，最大限度地发挥地图的阅读功效。……
