课题 Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark. Section A 1a-1c教学目标1.正确使用used to结构描述人物过去的外貌、性格和爱好.掌握used to do 句型的否定句结构以及一般疑问句结构。情感教育 在描述的过程中感悟成长的变化,学会感恩、孝顺父母。教学重难点使用used to 结构谈论自己及他人在外貌、性格和爱好方面的变化。1.小组合作探究法2.任务型教学法教学过程及教师活动 学生活动教法设计意图

Step 1 Lead-in Activity 1: Guess :Who is he?Step 2 自主学习Ask the students to take out the Learning-case.Look at 1a “Fill in the chart with words to describe people” .Check the answers by asking different students to read their lists to the class. Make sure that all the students understand what each word means.Step 3 合作探究Activity 1 1.Show a short video to students.2.After watching the video ,ask students :How do you feel? Lead the students to show their love for their parents,and talk about what they will do for their parents.3.From the video ,we know that as time goes by,everybody has changed a lot .4.Lead the students to make sentences like:I used to be ......Activity 2 Listen to the tape and finish 1b.First lead the students to look at the picture in 1b carefully,make sure they know what is happening .Then listen and check the answers .Activity 3 1.Look at the pictures and make conversations with the partner .Let the students talk about how the people look like now and how they used to look like.2.Ask some pairs of students to show their work .3.Then sum up and write on the blackboard :didn’t use to bedo ;Did sb. use to be do sth.?Activity 4 Make a survey to find out who has changed a lot in your group.Fill in the chart,and then make a report .They can make the survey by asking :What did you use to look like?What did you use to be like?What did you use to like doing?My partner Try to guess who he is .让学生感受人在成长过程中的变化,引出课题。Work follow the teacher Look ,discuss and say.自主学习人物外貌及性格的词汇,为听说做准备。Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.Make conversations with a partner Show their work.通过看视频<<Family>>,可以深刻的教育学生要学会感恩,孝顺父母。同时也可以让学生更好的理解used to do 使用的情景。让学生经过探究后使用used to be 来表达过去的自己。让学生在训练听力的同时,总结出used to be+adj.与Used to do的用法。Make a survey in group .Fill in the chart and then give a report Name: In the past Now Appearance Personality Hobby Other features Step 4 探究小结Think and write.让学生在对话操练中探究出used to do 的否定句、一般疑问句的结构和其肯定否定回答。通过让学生做调查,能更好的输出本课所学的知识,同时也能提高他们的英语口语能力。让学生归纳梳理所学的句式,加深记忆。意为“过去常常”表示过去的习惯动作或状态,现在已不再发生或不存在的 ,其否定形式为 肯定和否定回答:其一般疑问句结构为tep 5 巩固练习(题目见导学案)作业布置 Make sentences about the changes of your parents between“in the past”and“now”.Use the sentence pattern “...used to...,but now ....”.
