【摘要】众所周知，英语口语面试的目的就是要测探出一个人的语言综合能力。各级各类学校或培训机构开设的英语口语面试课程或演讲课程均有利于提高学生的语言水平，培养其思辨能力，从而达到提升其综合语言素养的目标，并为未来职业发展打下良好基础。然而，教师在有效指导学生提高语言学习能力的同时，如何有针对性地指导其副语言的表现能力也逐渐成为许多英语教师关注的焦点。笔者根据多年的辅导经验及自身体会，简明扼要地阐述了口语面试（包括口语演讲比赛）过程中须注意的一些副语言问题。

【Abstract】As is known to all， the aim of an interview in spoken English is simply to testify an interviewees integrated English language proficiency. And a variety of training programs for spoken English at all levels in some way are of a great help to college students to improve their spoken English， to cultivate their capability in critical thinking， thereby setting a good pavement for their future career development. While in process of achieving this ultimate goal efficiently， how to make a good use of paralanguage to help enhance their performance in an English interview seems increasingly important and has been drawing the focus of many teachers of English in recent years. The writer in this essay， according to his latest raw material， has concisely stated the role of paralanguage and some problems arising， together with the target solutions to them in an interview.

一、引言

如何正確地通过非语言交际方式（non-verbal communicative skills）来反映真实的语言水平，是口语教师们一直探讨的棘手问题。笔者多年来致力于各类口语面试或演讲比赛辅导培训，尤其是在辅导高校语言类特招生的口语面试考前培训方面，积累了大量的实践经验与体会。近年经作者辅导过的石家庄市外国语学校及其它语言类特招生近乎百分之百地如愿以偿，他们在面试中均取得了斐然的好成绩。

二、如何正确理解副语言

1.副语言与真语言的区别。

（1）在搞清副语言之前，我们首先要知道与之相对应的真语言概念。真语言也称有声语言（verbal language），它是最基本的语言交际能力。就口语测试而言，主要包括语音语调、流利度、轻重读音节、意群节奏、抑扬顿挫、失去爆破和不完全爆破、用词的准确性等等，这些均是测试官对有声语言考查的重点。……
