高校学生留级原因及留级生转化管理的思考

摘要：面对现代高校留级学生增多的现状，留级生俨然成为一个不可忽视的重要群体。文章以学分制考核条件下机械类学生为例，从剖析学生留级原因、留级学生面临和存在的问题入手，对留级学生的管理和预警机制进行探讨，以期完善留级学生管理制度，帮助留级学生度过学业困难期，顺利毕业。

Abstract:Faced with the present situation that the number of repeaters is increasing in colleges and universities, repeaters have been an important group to be reckoned with. Taking the Machinery majors in the condition of credit system examination as an example, the article analyzes the management and warning mechanism for repeated stu原dents from two aspects including the causes that students repeat and the problems they are facing, in order to com原plete the repeaters management system and to help them get through the hard time in their study and graduate suc原cessfully.

学生的成长背负着一个家庭的希望，学生的学业牵动着一个家庭的幸福。经过刻苦复习、层层选拔进入梦寐以求的高等学校学习，是学生及整个家庭的荣耀和欣慰。然而，进入大学学习并没有理想中顺利，随着挂科门次逐年攀升，留级学生也在不断增加。留级学生由于其身份的特殊性，极易出现留级学生留级后半年内疏于管理，成为学生管理工作中的盲点，正确分析学生留级原因，加强留级学生管理工作，帮助留级学生度过学业困难期顺利毕业是高校教育工作者急需解决的问题。

一、留级原因剖析

（一）学习能力较弱

1.生源质量不同

随着高校扩招，高校的生源质量也不尽相同。一部分学生刻苦学习，但学习方法欠佳，学校效率低下；另一部分学生自怨自艾，且有一定的自卑情绪，逃避学习，基于以上两种情况，面对高校繁重的课业压力一再考试挂科导致留级。
