摘 要 畜牧业是我国农业的重要组成部分，是我国农民增加收入的重要来源之一。贵州省具有丰富的发展畜牧业资源和优势，大力发展畜牧业将作为贵州省农村经济结构战略性调整的主要突破口之一。畜牧业的发展需要大量的应用技能型高端畜牧兽医人才，本文针对贵州畜牧兽医行业发展现状及其人才需求，对畜牧兽医专业高职教育的人才培养定位、专业设置、人才培养模式及课程体系与教学内容改革进行了初步探讨。

Explore the Curriculum Reform for the Development of Animal

Husbandry in Guizhou Province and its Personnel Needs

Abstract Livestock husbandry is an important component of China's agriculture， is also an important source of China's farmers to increase their income. With rich resources and livestock development advantages， Guizhou will vigorously develop livestock husbandry and take it as one of the major breakthrough in the rural economy strategic adjustment. Development of livestock requires a lot of high skilled talents of livestock husbandry and veterinary. On the livestock development status and its talent needs in Guizhou， this paper made preliminarily discussion on talent training orientation， specialty settings， training model， as well as curriculum system and teaching content reform of Livestock Husbandry and Veterinary specialty in Higher Education.

改革开放以来，中国畜牧业飞速发展。特别是近些年来，随着强农惠农政策的实施，畜牧业加快发展的势头，其生产方式呈现规模化、标准化、产业化和区域化的趋势。同时，畜牧业的发展在促进农民增收、保障城乡食品价格稳定方面发挥了举足轻重的作用，在许多地方，畜牧业已经成为增加农民收入的主要来源之一，国家也非常重视畜牧业发展，出台了一系列支持畜牧业发展的政策。

贵州省境内饲草资源丰富，全省天然草地面积达429万hm2，占全省土地面积的24.3%，全省还有33万hm2田地坎和200万hm2林下草地可供开发利用。全省每年还有1100多万吨农作物秸秆和600多万吨藤蔓，可作为草食家畜提供充足的饲料来源。①贵州还有牛、羊、猪、鸡、鸭等27个地方优良品种，②为畜牧业的发展提供了广阔的空间。2003年贵州省委下发了《中共贵州省委、贵州省人民政府关于加快畜牧业发展的意见》，作出了把发展生态畜牧业作为农业和农村经济结构战略性调整的突破口，建设可持续发展的生态畜牧业大省的决定。……
