Orlicz-Sobolev空间的LURWC性质

借助Orlicz-Sobolev空间的基本理论和方法,研究了赋Luxemburg范数的Orlicz-Sobolev空间中的LURWC性质,给出了Orlicz-Sobolev空间具有LURWC性质的充要条件,推广了对于Orlicz空间的LURWC条件的研究.

1 预备知识

Sobolev空间是20世纪初逐步形成的有重要应用价值的数学模型,众所周知它在偏微分方程中起着重要作用.Orlicz-Sobolev空间是将Sobolev空间中的Lp(Ω)空间推广到Orlicz空间LM(Ω)之后形成的Banach空间[1].凸性作为Banach空间的几何性质,类似于单调性在Banach格中的作用.研究凸性有着非常重要的理论意义.文献[2-4]已经对Orlicz-Sobolev空间的严格凸、一致凸和中点局部一致凸作了详细论述.本文得到的是Orlicz-Sobolev空间的另一凸性:局部弱紧集方向一致凸(LURWC)的充要条件.

设X是Banach空间,X*是X的对偶空间.B(X),S(X)分别表示X的单位球与单位球面.ℕ表示自然数集.

1986年,文献[5]引进局部弱紧集方向一致凸(LURWC)概念.设X是Banach空间,点x∈S(X)称为LURWC点是指:xn∈B(X),‖xn+x‖→2和xnw→y蕴涵x=y.如果S(X)上每一点均为LURWC点,称为X是LURWC.

定义1.1设M(u)为N函数[6],Ω是Rn中的有界连通开区域,(Ω,Σ,µ)是非原子有限可测空间.对于Ω上的任意实值可测函数u(t),定义u的模为:

若Xi具有LURWC性质,则X也具有LURWC性质.

In this paper,we get help from the basic theory and method in Orlicz-Sobolev spaces，discuss LURWC property of Orlicz-Sobolev spaces with Luxemburg norm,the sufficient and necessary conditions of LURWC property in Orlicz-Sobolev spaces are given,the result make some substantive progress for LURWC conditions in Orlicz spaces.
