〔摘 要〕泛在知识环境是数字图书馆未来发展的目标和趋向。科技的迅猛发展促使数字图书馆步入新的时代——后数字图书馆时代，后数字图书馆时代以泛在知识环境为基础，其基本特点和服务模式都将发生变化。文章分析泛在知识环境下数字图书馆的特点，并探讨泛在知识环境下数字图书馆的新型服务模式。

〔Ａｂｓｔｒａｃｔ〕The ubiquitous knowledge environment is the future development of digital library target and trends.The rapid development of science and technology to promote digital libraries into the new era——post digital library times,the post digital library times based on the ubiquitous knowledge environment,its basic characteristics and service patterns will change.The paper analyzed ubiquitous knowledge environment features of the digital library,and discussed digital library service model in the ubiquitous environment.

１ 泛在知识环境(Ubiquitous Knowledge Environment)１.１ 泛在知识环境的提出

2001年2月，美国总统信息技术咨询委员会数字图书馆研究小组(PITAC/DL)向布什总统提交了名为“数字图书馆：普遍访问人类知识”的报告［１］。此报告提出：“任何公民无论何时何地都能利用任何与因特网相联结的数字设备来检索所有人类知识”。这一报告预示着数字图书馆将成为普遍访问全人类知识的工具，并说明数字图书馆将形成广泛存在的知识环境。这一报告为“泛在知识环境”的提出奠定了基础。

2003年6月，美国国家科学基金会(NSF:National Science Foundation)在Cape Cod召开了名为“未来的浪潮：NSF后数字图书馆的未来(Wave of the Future:NSF PostDigital Library Futures Workshop)”研讨会，在“知识在信息中迷失——NSF数字图书馆研究方向研讨会报告”［２］中提出了后数字图书馆的目标——创建泛在知识环境，这次研讨会首次明确提出了“泛在知识环境”的概念。

国内首次介绍这次研讨会内容的文章是《“后数字图书馆时代”解析》，发表于《图书馆杂志》2005年第5期，这篇文章中描述会议的议题是“后数字图书馆未来”或者“普遍存在的知识环境”。……
