Abstract：Objective The Pharmacognostic identification of Polygonatum cyrtonema and P .kingianumvar.grandifolium cultivatedinvariousbasesinsouthwestChinawascarrdouttoprovideeliabledatafortheacurateidentficationandthefurtherdevelopmentalutilizatioofmedicinalmaterialssourcsoftetwomedicinalmaterialsintefutue.MetodsTetwomedicinalmatealsf PolygonatumfromChinawerestudiedbymeansofmorpholog，macroscopicandmicroscopicidentificationmethods.ResultsInorigin andmacroscopicidentification，thistwoplantsandmedicinalmaterialscouldbedistinguishedfromeachotherbytheirleafsize，fruit shapeandsize，depthofedgeonfruitandotstock；themicroscopicstructureofthetwospecieswasbasicallthesame，andthere weredifereesbetweenthetwospeciesinthecrosssectionofrotsandstems.Singlecalciumoxalatesquarecrystalwasfoundinthe powder of P .kingianum var. grandifolium，but no in P cyrtonema. Conclusion Through the methods of origin，macroscopic and microscopic identification， P .cyrtonema and P .kingianum var. grandifolium can be clearly distinguished.Through the analysis of whethertheyareincludedintheChinesePharmacopoeiaandthelistofthesameoriginofmedicineandfood，somesugestions were provided for the further development of these two kinds of Polygonatum.

药材黄精为传统习用的中药材，具有补气养阴、健脾、润肺、益肾的功效[1]。现代化学及药理研究表明，黄精中的主要成分有多糖、皂苷、氨基酸及无机元素、木脂素、黄酮、挥发油类等[2-4]，具有调节血糖血脂、抗肿瘤、抗氧化、抗病毒、抗菌抗炎、改善睡眠记忆、延缓衰老、调节免疫、抗骨质疏松、抗疲劳、治疗慢性阻塞性疾病和老年高血压等功剂[5-12]。因其作用广泛，在临床上被作为常用中药，大量应用于中医临床处方、同时因其具有食用价值，不少企业还将其开发为保健食品和调味品[13-14] 。

2020年版《中国药典》一部收载黄精有3种，滇黄精Polygonatumkingianum（大黄精）、黄精 P_⋅ sibiricum（鸡头黄精）、多花黄精 P ：cyrtonema（姜形黄精）[15]，但民间实际应用种远不止此3种，因此，也造成了民间黄精种植的种类多样与复杂。

在《按照传统既是食品又是中药材物质目录》中，黄精的基原与《药典》一致，都是滇黄精、黄精、多花黄精这3个种，从现有法律规定角度看，在全国范围内作为药食两用的黄精基原时确为这3个种。然而如果地方有文献记载具有较长的安全食用历史，则可以申报作为地方特色食品进行应用。目前已大量开发利用并在市场上流通的滇黄精、黄精仅占总量的 25% ，其它为滇黄精的代用品。

因此，目前市面上的黄精种类繁多，种源混杂，特别是近两年出现在西南各省区各大种植基地的所谓多花黄精与“不倒苗黄精”（实为大叶黄精）的两种黄精，给各企业与种植户造成了很大的混乱，这两……
