在印太这个地缘博弈的巨大棋盘中，法国和英国是相对不那么起眼却又不可忽视的“玩家”。近年来，法英各自印太战略的顶层设计和政策实践呈现加速推进之势。在日渐深入地涉足印太的过程中，基于多种考虑，法英也流露出加强两国在印太的防务与安全合作的意愿，这种意愿的落实、深化和发展势必将对印太地缘政治格局的演进产生重要影响。①目前，国内外学者、智库、媒体等对法国和英国各自的印太战略多有着墨，特别是较为全面地梳理了法英与日本、澳大利亚、印度等主要印太域内国家的防务与安全合作，抑或分析以英国“脱欧”为背景的法英在欧洲的防务合作及对跨大西洋关系的影响，但甚少探讨法英在印太的防务与安全合作，仅在某些政论时评和智库报告中对其有只言片语的涉及，如Erik Brattberg, Philippe Le Corre, Etienne Soula, “Can France and the UK Pivot to the Pacific?”, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, July 05, 2018; Keagan Ingersoll, “UK-France Joint Action Key to European Relevance in the Indo-Pacific”, Geopolitical Monitor, May 12, 2021; Sophia Gaston and Georgina Wright, “France and the UK - Common Interests and Shared Ambiguity Towards the Indo-Pacific”, British Foreign Policy Group, 28 May 2021; David Hutt, “Can the EU and the UK Cooperate in the Indo-Pacific?”, Internationale Politik Quarterly, January 26, 2021；等等。

一、法英防务与安全合作向印太的扩展
