【摘    要】培养学生英语阅读能力是初中英语教学中的重点内容。近年来，农村教育模式不断改革，教育水平持续提高，但是依旧存在一些问题。如何加强农村初中英语阅读教学的质量、提高学生阅读能力是初中英语教师有待解决的重点问题。本文主要研究农村初中英语阅读教学中存在的问题，提出了加强农村英语阅读教学的措施，如转变教学观念，创新教学体系;提高学生词汇量，加强阅读质量;采用英语交流，带动学生学习兴趣;掌握阅读技巧，培养学生自主阅读的能力。

Analysis of Problems and Countermeasures in English Reading Teaching in Rural Junior High Schools

【Abstract】Cultivating students' English reading ability is the key content in junior high school English teaching. In recent years， the rural education model has been continuously reformed and the education level has continued to improve， but there are still some problems. How to strengthen the quality of English reading teaching in rural junior high schools and improve students' reading ability is a key issue to be solved by junior high school English teachers.This article mainly studies the problems existing in English reading teaching in rural junior high schools， and proposes measures to strengthen rural English reading teaching， such as changing teaching concepts， innovating teaching systems; improving students' vocabulary， strengthening reading quality; using English communication to stimulate students' interest in learning; master reading skills and cultivate students' ability to read independently.

一、农村初中英语阅读教学中存在的问题

（一）教学观念较为落后

农村学校很多都采用传统教学方式，以教师为课堂的主导者，采用纯讲述式的教学模式，授课方式单一。这种授课模式的弊端十分显著，学生脱离了课堂主体，只能在课堂上被动地接听教师传授的知识。教师的主要目的只是讲清楚知识点和完成教学目标。这样的授课模式会导致英语阅读教学效果低下，学生无法在课堂或课后进行阅读锻炼，长此以往，学生就会对英语阅读失去兴趣，导致英语教学质量落后。

（二）學生词汇量少

词汇是阅读的基础，新课程标准中明确指出需要不断提高学生的阅读能力，但是农村中学受各方面因素的制约，缺乏对英语阅读的重视和培养，导致学生的词汇量少，阅读面窄。在研究中发现，农村英语阅读教学只有课堂上短暂的时间，课内阅读的时间短，课外阅读更是少之又少。……
