【摘 要】 通过对天南星、虎掌历史沿革的梳理和名称、形态以及功效的对比，参考文献对天南星、虎掌的历史沿革进行全面的本草考证，对现代天南星的品种进行比较，确定天南星和虎掌形态差异甚大，并非同种药材，且古今记载的虎掌也有差异。药材天南星使用较为广泛，加强天南星品种鉴定，有利于规范临床用药。

Abstract：By combing the historical evolution of Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott and Pinellia pedatisecta，comparing their names， forms and effects， and referring to historical documents in detail，makes a comprehensive textual research on the historical evolution of Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott and Pinellia pedatisecta，compares the varieties of modern Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott， and finds that Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott and Pinellia pedatisectaare quite different in form， not the same medicinal materials， and there are also differences in Pinellia pedatisectarecorded in ancient and modern times. The medicinal material Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott is widely used， strengthening the identification of Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott varieties is helpful to standardize clinical drug use.

天南星Arisaema erubescens（Wall.）Schott在我國记载历史悠久，为天南星科天南星属植物的块茎。首载于《本草拾遗》[1]中，用于治疗顽痰咳嗽、风痰眩晕、中风痰壅、口眼歪斜、半身不遂、癫痫、惊风、破伤风等[2]。与虎掌Pinellia pedatisecta的功效相似，且为不同种中药材。由于历代本草记载的不一致和各地民间的用药习惯，加上药材天南星原植物上形态上非常相似，气候、海拔、生长年限等原因，导致药材原植种类物混乱[3]。文章通过对历代古籍中记载的虎掌及天南星进行本草考证，并对虎掌以及现代《中国药典》[2]中天南星、东北南星、异叶南星进行考证。

1 名称考证

现代药材天南星在历史记载上有虎掌、天南星等名。在唐代之前本草著作都是以虎掌命名。唐代《新修本草》[4]中记载“虎掌，形似半夏，但皆大四边有子如虎掌。”故名为虎掌。后宋代《本草拾遗》首次记载天南星，即本经中记载的虎掌。后到宋朝再次出现虎掌、天南星两种，并非同种。《证类本草》[5]曰：天南星“叶似蒻叶，根如芋。……
