An analysis of advanced English rollover classroom model based on micro-course

Summary:As a new teaching model in recent years,the rollover classroom is implemented in the information environment to promote interaction and cooperation between teachers and students,modern teaching model to help students establish the belief of life-long learning and develop the ability of life-long learning.

Based on the perspective of English majors,this paper analyzes and studies the strategies and effective ways to cultivate college students'autonomous learning ability in English classroom teaching,starting with the current situation of college students'autonomous learning ability,it provides reference for the cultivation of autonomous learning ability of college students and the teaching reform and innovation of English Major.

Introduction:At present,the cultivation of autonomous learning ability of English majors is still in a relatively contradictory position.On the one hand,the school tries to carry out rich and effective curriculum reform measures to promote students'autonomous learning ability,on the other hand,the setting of school teaching goals is still relatively fixed,and can not be linked properly with the subject of "self-learning ability cultivation",resulting in a situation of doing twice the work with half the effort.

According to the research of some scholars and our interviews,the self-management consciousness of English learning time is still very weak,and there is a certain blindness to the study.On the one hand,students'dependence is so strong that under the influence of long-term exam-oriented education,students are accustomed to the process of relying on teachers to impart knowledge,and once they are separated from teachers,they will lose the direction of learning,many students lack a clear goal,can not grasp the initiative of study,arrange their time reasonably,make plans or carry on the initiative knowledge discussion.However,for the current teaching model of advanced English,the teaching process based on knowledge transfer can not go beyond the limitation of time and space,is too procedural and patterned,and it is difficult for teachers to integrate and optimize all teaching materials and contents effectively,students lack places for autonomous learning and language practice,and are unable to take students as the center and meet their needs for autonomous learning and their growing knowledge needs,it is also more and more unfavorable to the cultivation and full development of students'innovative thinking and ability.Based on the above,the team has decided to introduce and implement the rollover classroom model in the teaching of advanced English for English majors in the university,while studying the current situation of students'autonomous learning ability,committed to reforming and optimizing the model to meet the needs and circumstances of English majors in China,to promote the use of high-quality educational resources,and to promote the development of English majors'autonomous learning ability,to help students establish the belief of self-study and life-long study,and to provide direction and experience for the exploration of Chinese classroom teaching reform.

Students and teachers from the original single classroom teaching knowledge released,pre-class and after-class learning has become the new normal for students:each student can watch the video before the class to complete their own preview,with questions into the classroom;At the same time,teachers give specific guidance according to the students'learning situation before class.Most of the time in class is spent on various teaching activities such as group discussions and group comments,which is conducive to stimulating students'learning enthusiasm,finally,the students can grasp the learning rhythm independently,play back the teaching video anytime and anywhere,and review independently.

Based on our interviews with students and classroom observations,we found that students'motivation for self-directed learning is enhanced when they master the corresponding learning strategies and learning methods,for the understanding of the teaching content and the completion of the teaching task will play a positive role in promoting.College English teaching under the overturned classroom model should focus on discovering students'individuality and encouraging students to choose effective learning methods and skills according to their own actual conditions.It is very important for teachers to guide students in learning strategies and learning methods according to the teaching contents,especially the training of some commonly used key learning strategies.

As far as the research of this project is concerned,this research analyzes the implementation of the "flipped classroom" teaching model from the perspective of students,it can truly reflect the students' cognition and demand for the application of "rollover classroom" in English teaching,thus obtaining the first-hand research materials of "rollover classroom" teaching experience.
