【要点精讲】

一、现在进行时的被动语态的基本结构：

现在进行时态的被动语态的肯定式为：am/is/are + being + done。如：

The question is being discussed at the meeting now. 这个问题现在正在会上被讨论。

二、现在进行时的被动语态的主要用法：

1. 现在进行时的被动语态同它的主动语态一样，表示现在正在进行的被动动作。如：

He is being interviewed by the reporter now. 他正在接受记者的采访。

2. 现在进行时的被动语态同它的主动语态一样，表示现阶段正在进行的被动动作。如：

These animals are being hunted at such a speed that they will disappear soon.以这样的速度捕杀动物，它们很快就会消失。

3. 少数及物动词的进行时表示按计划、安排将要承受某个动作。如：

Some rock music is being played by them next. 下面将由他们演奏一些摇滚音乐。

When is the sports meeting being held in our school？ 我校將在什么时候举行运动会？

三、特别提醒：

1. 一些表示“状态、心理活动、拥有、存在”等的动词，一般不用现在进行时的被动语态，常用一般现在时的被动语态。如：

Xiao Wang， come here. You are wanted on the phone. 小王，过来，有你的电话。

Football is becoming more and more popular. In other words， it is loved by more and more people. 足球现在越来越受欢迎了，换句话说，它被越来越多的人所喜爱。

2. “be +under/ in等介词+名词”结构可以表示现在进行时的被动语态的含义。如：

The problem is under discussion （is being discussed） at the meeting. 这个问题正在会上被讨论。

The telephone is in use （is being used） now. 这部电话正在使用中。
