Abstract： The rapid development of the economy has enriched our material life， but in the process we must be aware of the adverse effects of development on the environment， such as the plummeting relationship between man and ecology. In this context， in order to avoid serious problems， we must pay more attention to ecology and nature， and actively deal with existing problems. At present， people actively carry out environmental protection work， among which environmental monitoring method is widely used for its unique advantages. On this premise， the author discusses the development of environmental monitoring law and technology concerned.
